
The Challenge:
To develop an online game that is engaging and fun to play and extends the Mr. Meaty experience to the web engaging the target demographic on multiple platforms while extending the reach of the show itself.
The E-Axis Solution:
E-Axis, after extensive consultation with the client, e-axis developed Mr. Meaty “The Game”. Taking the characters directly from the show e-axis.com recreated the food court online in a versatile Multi level with bosses, side scrolling game; Players can choose to play as either Josh or Parker, using ketchup, mustard and the occasional fart to fend off the various unsavory characters that are roaming around and defend the food court and save the day.
The Results:
The game was extremely well received becoming quickly one of the most popular games the CBC/kids website, In May alone it reported 165000 unique visitors, 550,000, 220,000 overall visits and 550000 page views.
