Jamieson Laboratories
The Client:
Corporate and product website that offers exciting new features to better serve the growing health conscious community and provides Jamieson staff with an easy to use, consumer centric, content and product management system.
The Method:
Upon the initiation our Internet Solutions Lifecycle Process (ISLP) Jamieson began to see results. The ISLP begins with the e-axis Internet Business Survey* that includes an analysis of the company's Internet based sales and marketing plan and a detailed web site and internal systems analysis comparing Jamieson's on-line goals with their then current delivery vehicle, the old web site. Together we determined that the old web site and the surrounding support structure was insufficient to the task.
The Objectives:
Utilizing the Functional Design process of our ILSP we worked with marketing, sales and IT to create a customized design that included the following key functional goals:
Create a customer centric health, wellness and product information destination;
Increase traffic to the new Jamieson web site to facilitate the collection of
product, health and user data;
Create a natural health, wellness and happiness experience through an appropriate
look and feel;
Create an easy to use web site administrative and content management system.
The Plan:
Employing the Build, Test and Launch segments of our ISLP we set about to accomplish the following:
Create a new look and feel that projects health and happiness through out
the web site, reflecting Jamieson's Natural approach to health and wellbeing;
Create a new navigation system that would be easy to use and intuitive;
Create a back-end system for easy (non technical) administration, data collection
and content management;
Create monthly consumer polling feature and administrative system;
Create consumer health, wellness and vitamin quiz feature and administrative
system;
Create featured products/specials feature and administrative system;
Create latest products feature and administrative system;
Create data driven customer product comments feature and administrative system;
Create easy to use send “web page in HTML format” via e-mail to
a friend feature.
The Results:
The final element of the e-axis ILSP is to continually Manage Results.
Jamieson has experienced a XX% increase in web site activity, with repeat visits
utilizing their consumer polling, wellness and vitamin quiz and the featured
product announcement features. A user survey indicates that surfers of the new
site find they are able to find and get to what they want more easily. It also
concluded that users found that the new look and feel of the web site contributed
positively to the users experience.
Because the new web site was designed to collect user response data Jamieson
is using the collected information to more accurately plan and execute product,
sales and marketing initiatives.

TSNMAX.ca
The Client:
TSNMAX is a new a new premium sports service from TSN, The Globe and Mail and Bell. It offers the online user in-depth sports coverage in a manner never seen before.
The Situation:
The Agency of Record for TSNMAX was looking for an innovative way to promote and drive traffic to the tsnmax.ca website, reinforcing the brand character, identity of TSNMAX and build brand awareness.
E-Axis Solution:
E-Axis, after consultation with the Agency of Record, developed one of the most innovative online campaigns for a Canadian property. E-Axis created a banner placement inviting users to play air hockey inside of the banner itself. The banner was non-intrusive and the click-through drove targeted traffic to tsnmax.ca. Third party advertising statistics showed that the E-Axis banner produced an astounding 14.8% click-through rate!
E-Axis was honored with a Certificate for the integrated game and banner advertisement in the Advertisements in Page category for the 2002 Marketing Magazine Digital Marketing Awards.
More Than Just Movies - Screensaver
The Client:
EMI Music Canada is one of Canada's biggest music producers including such notable labels as EMI Music Canada, Capitol Music Canada, and Virgin Music
EMI is the label for many of the biggest acts in the music business today.
The Situation:
EMI approached e-axis.com with a digital marketing challenge. As part of an integrated campaign “More than just Movies” e-axis was tasked with developing a dynamically updated marketing screensaver that would drive traffic, contest entries and expose users to a regular stream of EMI music DVD titles.
E-axis.com Solution:
E-axis, working in close collaboration with EMI Canada's Digital Media team, developed the “DVD Music - More Than Just Movies” screensaver. The screensaver was much more than what anyone is used to seeing in a typical run of the mill screensaver. Then again this was no typical screensaver, it was a fundamental part of the whole contest. The screensaver was the mechanism that allowed users to enter the contest – for every 15 minutes that the screen saver was running the user was able to enter a contest ballot. The winner of the contest in fact was broadcast through the screensaver itself as well. The screensaver also included a “Send to a friend” feature and continually broadcast EMI Music marketing messages to users.
The screensaver extended EMI's ability to stay in touch with the target audience and generated six-figure user response.
Queen's School of Business
The Client:
Queen's School of Business, in the last decade, has ascended to the forefront in North American business education. A national school with an international reputation for excellence, it attracts top students from across Canada and around the world and is widely acclaimed for high quality students and programs. With an unmatched record of innovation, Queen's business graduates are leaders in Canada and around the globe.
The Situation:
The Queen's School of Business website had immediate and critical needs for improvement, in order to clearly reflect their reputation for innovation and excellence. The website was slow and cumbersome and performance was a significant concern. The website required frequent updates – difficult to manage and perform – and did not meet the requirements of the faculty and its users.
E-Axis Solution:
E-Axis proposed an initiative to the Queen's School of Business and developed a reconstructed website that replaced hard-to-update static pages with data-driven content via a proprietary content management solution. News, faculty information, publications and other critical content areas are now easier to update and manage. The E-Axis content management solution was simple to implement and self-explanatory in application requiring virtually no training.
E-Axis continues to work in partnership with The Queen's School of Business ensuring that its evolving requirements are always met.

Client has required to build dynamic real State portal, where customers can
search for the suitable property and request more info from the agent. The goal
of the project was to create easy to use and maintain dynamic site.

Solution
E-axis.com analyzed the business requirements and designed backend architecture and databases. The development was done in ASP, JavaScript and MSSQL 7, given client's chosen platform.
Front end:
List of all agents and links to their personal site (corporate site alike) from
which they can view all the corporate pages, the only difference is that all
info and contact requests will go to the current agent. There is an agent on
duty that is rotated every 12 hours alphabetically and all the info and contact
requests done on the corporate site will go to the current agent on duty.
Property search - search by price range, type and style. Ability to request more info for the current property.
News letter subscription, each subscriber is assigned to the agent.
